Something I’ve recently found myself enjoying is transforming pages of (visually) unexciting text into something that your eyes say, “Hang on, wait a minute. This might be interesting.” It’s a bit like a treasure hunt in the sense that, as the designer, it is my role to find important points and re-imagine these in a way that draws an audience closer, making digestion of information just that little bit easier. In conjunction with the 2015 Earth Hour campaign, Melbourne University wanted to communicate key scientific findings in the fields of climate change and food production to the general public.
